                                                                                 Mensaje del Director

¡Espero que hayan tenido unas vacaciones pero la hora a llegado para comenzar un año escolar nuevo!  Quiero que sepan que como Director de Magma Ranch, estoy emocionado de comenzar un nuevo año escolar.  Verdaderamente, tenemos un gran grupo tanto de personal como de alumnos regresando a Magma.  

Padres estoy emocionado de anunciar que  a través de un otorgamiento del Departamento de Educación de Arizona estaremos comenzando Apoyo e Intervenciones de Comportamiento Positivo (PBIS por sus siglas en Inglés) este año escolar.  Recibimos un premio al mérito para la implementación inicial y estamos preparados para la plena aplicación.  El personal de  Magma Ranch recibirá capacitación para reconocer las conductas positivas y el uso de estos momentos de enseñanza para crear una cultura en toda la escuela.  Por ejemplo, los estudiantes que se encuentren (“Sean pillados”) mostrando comportamientos positivos por un miembro del personal serán premiados con un boleto.  Los estudiantes  entregan  los boletos a la oficina y se cuentan.  Los  nombres son sorteados todos los  viernes durante los  anuncios en la mañana para  los premios y el  estudiante con la  mayoría de boletos entregados  mensualmente recibirá un certificado y fotografía  que se exhibirá en el pasillo principal.  ¡Además, tendrán la oportunidad con el Sr. Lopez! ¡Guauu! ¿Quién no quiere eso? Padres el objetivo de este sistema es establecer la cultura social y apoyos de  comportamiento individualizado necesarios para que las escuelas sean entornos de aprendizaje eficaces para todos los estudiantes.  Durante la segunda semana de la escuela se entregaron 1,037 boletos en la oficina y 79 ganadores en el  sorteo bingo del viernes.  Si tiene alguna pregunta, no dude en llamar a la escuela para más información. 

 

Información Importante:

  • Horas hábiles  para el año escolar será  de las  7:30 AM a  4:00 PM.

  • 8-5-15 & 8-19-15 son ambos días de Salida Temprana y los estudiantes se despiden a la  1:00 PM.

  • lunes, 8-10-15 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Noche Para Padres del Regreso a la Escuela y Cena de panqueques  GRATUITA

 

Padres si gusta ser voluntario en el aula de su hijo, comuníquese con su maestro y pueden explicarle los trámites necesarios para inscribirse para este ciclo lectivo.

Magma Ranch Parents,

 

I hope you have had an enjoyable break but the time has come to start a new school year!  I want you to know as the Magma Ranch principal I am excited for this new school year to start.  We truly have a great group of staff and students returning to Magma. 

PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) this school year.  We received the merit award for initial implementation and we are prepared for full implementation.  The Magma staff will be trained to recognize positive behaviors and how to use these teaching moments to build a school wide positive culture.  For example, students who are “Caught in the Act” showing positive behaviors by a staff member will be awarded with a ticket.  Students submit the tickets to the front office and they are tallied.  Names are drawn every Friday during morning announcements for prizes and the student with the most tickets turned in monthly will get a certificate and photo displayed in the main hallway.  They will also get to have lunch with Mr. Lopez!  Wow!  Who doesn’t want that? J Parents the goal of this system is to establish the social culture and individualized behavioral supports needed for schools to be effective learning environments for all students.  During the second week of school we have 1,037 tickets turned in to the front office and 79 winners to Friday’s bingo drawing.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact the school for more information.

  • Office hours for the school year will be from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

  • 8-5-15 & 8-19-15 are both Early Release days with students being dismissed at 1:00 PM.

  • Monday, 8-10-15 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Parent Back to School Night & FREE pancake dinner.

 

Parents if you would like to volunteer in your child’s classroom please contact your teacher and they can explain the paperwork needed to get you signed up for this school year.
